I'm back from San Francisco! It was pretty cool.. literally. it was in the low 60's. Pretty nice compared to 115 in Vegas! well I don't want to go to college there anymore. The only thing I'll really miss is the 3 story H&M store :'( Seriously, why don't they have one in Las Vegas yet?!?! The roads were so vertical that cars have to park 90 degrees to the sidewalk! We didn't have a car, so we walked miles & miles a day.







Oh, & I really hate airports. Our flight was canceled then rescheduled to 10:20pm (originally 7:20pm). It was so annoying.
I took 3 rolls of film, so I'll get those developed ASAP!

They called me last night, & said they were Bob Baxter (or whatever that guy's name is) from The Price Is Right. He offered me $100,000 if I appeared on the show, but I was like, "Uh no thanks." Then hung up.
Then today he called again & was like, "Hi Christine, this is Bob Baxter calling again." & I got freaked out, especially since he knew my name, so I hung up.
Then he called again, & I let Callie answer. This was their convo:

"Who is this?"
"Bob Baxter from The Price Is Right."
"No you're not, I know who Bob Baxter is, & you don't sound like him from tv. How'd you get this number?"
"I like to dial random numbers & start conversations with them, & I'm inspired by Bob Baxter."
"Well I'm very underage, so I don't think you should be calling this number for conversation anymore."
"WHATEVER, IT WASN'T LIKE I WAS GOING TO ASK YOU ON A DATE & FUCK YOUR FACE & SLIP YOU A DICK, BITCH!"

so then like 2 hours later he called AGAIN from a different number, & I was like, "who is this?" since it was from a different number, & he was like, "Bob Baxter."


WTF!!!!!!!!!

ohh i had a really good day. emily, esther, callie, & i went to Urban Outfitters, & got the best silver hightops & these white leggings with butterflies & hearts & roses on them. woo! then we went wanted to take a picture in front of the Welcome To Las Vegas sign, but we didn't know where to park. so we gave up, made a u-turn, & went to Sonic. it was so good, & their slushies really are AMAZING.
then we went to the Liberachie (sp?) museum, after much difficulty trying to find it. took a lot of pictures : ] my polaroid came out awful though : |

tooooonight i went to the harry potter book party @ barnes & noble with callie, esther, greg, & oliver. greg won 2nd place in the costume contest! some mom asked Greg to take pictures with their kids..... hahaha. i'm already on chapter 3 of the book.... AHHH SO EXCITING!!!!!!!! Oh yeah, Esther dressed up as Cho Chang. aka ChoDE chang. te he he heheeh.

So I've been reading a lot lately. I finished these 3 books within days. well, not so much White Teeth, i've been trying to read that on & off when school was still in.
OKAY!

1. White Teeth by Zadia Smith


My copy was orange, not like it matters... well yeah, i really liked that book. it was kinda slow in the beginning, but it sped up. one of the best books i've ever read. it's kind of hard to describe, but you can read this review if you'd like:

2. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
OF COURSE that is THE most amazing book I have ever read. I think White Teeth comes like 2nd or 3rd. But yes, I FINALLY managed to pick that up & read it. sooooo good! i'm pretty excited for the movie. & the 7th & final book... comes out Friday!


3. The Five People You Meet In Heaven


my dad gave me that book in 8th grade, & i haven't read it since, so i read it again. man that book is CORNY! it had a few good lines, but doesn't really deserve a spot in my "books" section. but if you're into loveEeEeE & meaningful little liiiiife stories, then maybe you'll like it. here's a review:

i got my permit renewed (yeah.... i've had it over a year.....) & made an appointment for my drivers test. it's on august 30 @ 2:30 pm!! guess i'm going to Coronado High still, since i won't have a ride to Green Valley High. :-/ Dammit, I don't want to take the bus again!!!!!!
then i came home & the UPS guy rang the door bell, and I opened the door & looked down expecting a package (that's what she said), but there was nothing there, & was like, ".....what?!" so then i looked around & it was towards the side like in the bushes :| wtf! well i got my sunglasses from Fredflare.com finally : D

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix was amazing!!! i think number 4 was better though.

so yesterday my mom & her friend took me to aaron brother's paint store, and my mom's friend majored in painting & art in college, so she helped me buy good brushes & how to use good techniques. so i got brushes, paint, & 2 canvases. what should i paint????
then my mom took me to Keva Juice, where i met up with Brian & Greg. greg was still working, so brian & i walked to target & got these beatles shirts. then we walked to callie's house, & some asshole threw ketchup at us....TWICE!!!!! i wouldn't be surprised if it was a.a. so then brian grabbed a huge rock & we were planning on throwing it at the car if it did it again..but it never came back :|. we finally got to callie's and cooked then played guitar hero, & greg & oliver came, then greg took all us home, & we played "would you rather" the whole time.
it was a good night :]

anyway, TONIGHT IS HARRY POTTER!!!!!!! but i can't go. i have to wait to the 9am showing tomorrow morning D: i'm so pissed!

well i didn't go to micheal's, but i saw Transformers!!!! with greg, brian, emily, & callie. it was amazing! let's just say it was so good that we all made our own Transformers nicknames. mine's Bumblebee, Greg's is Bone Crusher, Brian's is.... I don't know, I think Penis Queef (obv. not one of the characters), Callie's is Star something, & Emily's is Jazz. Haha yeah, Emily got the black guy!!

so after the picnic and stuff, callie & i snuck out of her house at like 2am-ish, & greg, esther, brian, callie, & i went to Planet Hollywood on the strip. this security guard was like,"I need to check you guys for ID 'cause it's after curfew." and i was like,"i don't have anything with me" and he was like,"well then you're going to jail." and esther & callie didn't have theirs either, so he was telling us we had to go with him cos we were going to jail. we just stood there cos we were like WTF!?!?! but then he was like,"NAH JUST KIDDIN'!!" hahahaha, we stayed for like 10 more minutes after that & had a pretty funny random conversation with him about mormon girls and such. he told callie,"i saw the black in yo eyes! you was gon' run away!" he was black, so it was okay, hahahaha.
then we all went to brian's til 5am-ish, and then greg drove callie & me back to callie's house.
